With approximately $218 million in assets and located in Washington, Pennsylvania, CHROME Federal Credit Union is currently in search of a finance and accounting executive to replace their retiring CFO. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will work in tandem with the current CFO until retirement, overseeing general accounting, budgeting, investments, financial reporting, asset liability management, and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will also be well versed in the use of technology to create efficiencies, have experience with regulatory compliance, and have the desire and capability to promote change in the department. The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills, keen analytical experience, and a strong desire to make a difference in the community CHROME FCU serves. The credit union is seeking someone with five plus years of experience managing finance and accounting functions, a bachelor’s degree, and holistic understanding of financial operations. CHROME Federal Credit Union was founded on April 13, 1971, as Washington Steel Employees Federal Credit Union by seven employees of the Washington Steel Company.
