Public Service Credit Union has a great opportunity for a talented, experienced Mortgage Loan Supervisor, located at our Denver office on East Evans.

As a Mortgage Supervisor you'll supervise the real estate loan department support staff in all functions relating to processing, servicing and maintenance of loans.

Duties:Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise & schedule the staff to ensure proper coverage to service consumer and commercial real estate loans and ensure the smooth and timely flow of loans throughout the department.
2. Responsible for oversight and implementation of all back office activities related to real estate taxes, escrow analysis, insurance tracking, flood and hazard insurance, coverage of collateral, adjustments, billings, HMDA, and all other related back office activities.
3. Oversees the servicing of mortgages sold to the secondary market ensuring proper documentation according to secondary market rules and regulations.
4. Responsible for quality control of all documents and servicing activities.
5. Reviews the servicing of all first mortgages and home equity loans according to credit union policy.
6. Reviews insurance claims regarding damages to mortgaged properties.
7. Responsible for reviewing consumer and commercial mortgage documents for quality control and for answering complex questions from staff in the maintenance, processing, and servicing of all loan products.
8. Provides back up in the Mortgage Department as needed.
9. Conducts underwriting functions for loans within approved limits.
10. Performs file maintenance and/or file audits on consumer and commercial mortgage loans as needed, including changes of ownership, modifications, payoffs, etc.
11. Prepares and initiates training and cross-training of staff, ensuring that staff is trained on all loan products and services as well as external rules and regulations.
12. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Requirements:
* Candidates must be NMLS licensed *

1. Highly proficient knowledge of mortgage products
2. Proficient knowledge of Fair Lending Laws and Regulations, including (RESPA) Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act; Regulation X (TILA) Truth in Lending Act; Regulation Z (FCRA) Fair Credit Reporting Act (ECOA) Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Reg. B (HMDA) Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Reg. C
3. Proficient knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHLB and RESPA guidelines
4. Ensure that all approved loans comply with established loan standards
5. Supervisor experience with successful results
6. Commit to excellence in all areas of job performance, relationship building and customer service
7. Demonstrated results with skillful communication, both written, and verbal
8. Ensure the the highest level of quality service is provided to all internal and external members
9. Exhibit support for the organization�s goals, values, initiatives and cost control
10. Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other compliance requests and requirements
11. Prioritize and plan work activities, demonstrating the use of efficient time management
13. Willing and able to learn/apply new skills and software applications; adaptable to change
14. Follow all safety and security guidelines to properly safeguard member and organization assets

PC, printer, phone, calculator, copier, scanner.

Working Conditions:
� Office environment; possible movement between departments and/or locations
� Some lifting up to approximately 25 pounds; occasional stooping, bending or stretching.
� Physical ability to maintain continuous hours of standing and/or sitting.
� Physical ability to communicate verbally and speak for extended periods of time over the phone.
� Manual dexterity to use a mouse, keyboard, calculator, typewriter and phone.
� Visual ability to interpret data from computer monitor and written documents.
