| Description: | This position is responsible for management of the credit union�s information systems and processing including the oversight of the Systems, Service Desk, and Records teams. The vice president interfaces with stakeholders throughout the credit union to plan, design and implement new initiatives in support of strategic goals and business plan objectives. Develops an understanding of business needs, current industry trends and best practices. Cultivates business relationships and develops a team reputation as a leading provider of technology services. Provides excellent service to members, employees and partners; demonstrating TruWest�s Vision, Mission, and Values. |
| Duties: | Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with technology teams, internal stakeholders and external partners. Possess the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish company goals. Possess a broad knowledge of technology disciplines including Applications, Databases, Internet and Mobile Channels and Network Infrastructure. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and the ability to present technology concepts to business audiences. Requires advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, data analysis and presentation tools. Requires working knowledge of industry best practices and standards including ITIL, COBIT, FFIEC, Six Sigma and PMI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set department goals, including the development of project plans, in support of the credit union business plan.
2. Responsible for directing the processing and administration of enterprise systems including core processing, retail branch system, document workflow and archiving, payment processing, ATMs, loan origination and servicing and general ledger system.
3. Responsible for directing tier one support for the credit union through the Service Desk.
4. Responsible for directing the efficient processing of electronic and physical documents across the credit union for both archive and retrieval.
5. Proactively manage vendor relationships, contracts, statements of work, project plans, service delivery and invoices to exceed financial, schedule and quality commitments.
6. Facilitate the development of the IT budget and provide oversight of ongoing expenses including capital investments, hardware and software maintenance, training and professional services.
7. Responsible for managing strategic technology projects in accordance with credit union project management and change control standards.
8. Responsible for hiring, training, motivation, supervision, and career development of department managers and their respective teams.
9. Monitor and provide regular reports on system availability, operational, and performance metrics.
10. Coordinates process compliance including operating procedures, internal controls and disaster recovery.
11. Develops and maintains an Application Architecture, Service Catalog and Roadmap for the credit union recommending ongoing changes to meet strategic objectives.

| Qualifications: | Education: Bachelor�s degree in technology is required, with a Master�s degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience: Requires a minimum of 8 years� experience in a financial services, information technology environment with 3 to 5 years of management and supervisory responsibilities.
