| Description: | SUMMARY
The Member Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall success of the Member Services Department and ensures that members receive the highest quality of service. He/she works with the VP of Retail Services to set cross-selling goals that complement the strategic plan of the Credit Union, which is approved by the Board of Directors annually. The Member Services Supervisor ensures that his/her department meets or exceeds those goals.

| Duties: | HOURS: M-F 8:45am-5:45pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare teller line for opening of the credit union / close down teller line at end of day
Balance & audit ATM, coin machine, vault
Order money for the vault & ATMs
Provide support to the Member Services area by processing deposits/withdrawals, answering phones, processing mail and night drop, performing account maintenance, replying to member emails, making debit cards, selling checks/gift cards/money orders, etc.
Act as vault teller for MSR buys/sells
Act as a Notary Public
Work with VP of Compliance to facilitate the IRA program
Generate teller statistics on a monthly basis; provide Member Services Department Report to VP of Retail Services.
Assist the VP of Retail services with the hiring process when there is a need within the Member Services Department
Interview & train all new hires and prepare all periodic employee reviews for his/her staff
Establish goals, coach employees, and promote professional development to those he/she supervises
Recommend counseling sessions; administer verbal warnings, written warnings and all improvement programs within the Member Services Department. Recommend terminations to his/her manager.
Review large item deposits
Verify teller and ATM balancing
Verify new accounts and/or account changes, including address changes
Check for incoming/outgoing wires and ensure they are posted
Work closely with the Credit Union�s record retention coordinator to organize items following proper record retention procedures and/or schedules
Act as point of contact for member service-related vendors: checks, gift cards, bill payment, etc.
Ensure policies and procedures are being followed in the Member Service Department; recommend changes to policies/procedures to VP of Retail Services as needed.
Work with appropriate personnel to maintain sufficient stock of all Member Service-related supplies including, but not limited to: envelopes, deposit slips, rate sheets, brochures, payroll/direct deposit forms, account cards, etc.

| Qualifications: | SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Sales Experience
Outstanding communication and writing skills
Ability to multi-task
Banking and/or credit union experience
Solid computer skills including MS Office applications
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-2 years prior management experience
