Description:Plans, coordinates, and directs training and staff development programs for the Credit Union by performing the following duties personally or through others.
Duties:� Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.
� Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested.
� Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
� Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, e-learning, and computer-based training.
� Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
� Trains assigned instructors in effective techniques for training, such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, sales techniques, health and safety practices, management/leadership development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.
� Researches and selects outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics.
� Administers 360 degree instrument process, coaching and development plans.
� Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees.
� Coordinates established training courses with technical and professional courses offered by community schools.
� Screens, tests, counsels, and recommends employees for participation in internal or external educational and training programs.
� Administers and monitors Credit Union�s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
Qualifications:Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S) in related field; four to eight years� experience managing a training function; previous banking/credit union experience preferred; proven ability/knowledge with adult learning concepts, curriculum design, e-Learning design and organizational development. Some travel required throughout state. DDI certification a plus.


Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Project Management software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, e-learning software (Captivate, Presenter Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom).
