We are currently seeking an enthusiastic customer service/sales professional for a Mortgage Loan Officer at our Tucson branch.

| Duties: | As Mortgage Loan Officer, your duties would include interviewing applicants and requesting specific information for loan applications, and completing good faith estimates. You would also be analyzing the applicant's financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting the loan or submitting the application to credit analyst for verification and recommendations. Furthermore, you will compile loan packages and facilitate the negotiation with the applicant according to established standards concerning loan repayment options, fees and other terms of credit, as well as ensuring the loan agreements are complete, accurate, and conform to policy.
The Mortgage Loan Officer will correspond with and/or interview applicants or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information to assure timely loan closings/funding activities. You will identify and analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for residential real estate loans, and promote/cross sells other Credit Union products and services that are appropriate to member requirements. This position also provides loan data to support marketing and sales promotion programs and acts as a source of information to all members and branch personnel, as well as resolves complaints relating to loan products and services in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, desire to succeed in a sales and service culture, confidentiality, and attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to accurately perform multiple tasks simultaneously while projecting a positive image to members and co-workers a must. Bachelors degree or equivalent; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years experience as a residential mortgage loan officer is required.
Must comply with and assist First Credit Union in enforcing the provisions set forth in its Federal Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Member/Customer Identification Policy. All FCU staff are required to ensure that they understand and accept the duties placed on them by the FCU Safety Policy not to endanger themselves or others and to co-operate with colleagues and management in the control of safety at work.
