Description:SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides excellent service to members, employees and business associates; demonstrates the values shown on TruWest�s Vision, Mission, and Values card. Responsible for performing TruWest�s dealer business development, dealer relations, special promotions and expanding both the number and type of dealers with whom we have relationships. Provides leadership and assistance to indirect lending personnel, maintains reports related to indirect lending programs, and keeps management updated on the current market conditions.

10. Effectively manage dealer relationships pertaining to volume, efficiency, and compliance standards set forth by TruWest. Enthusiasm in promoting TruWest and dealer programs.
11. Continuous communication with VP of Lending, Consumer Lending Manager, and Loan Officers on all dealer related topics.
12. Strive to convince dealers to use TruWest services rather than those of the competition.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, the ability to adjust focus; and the ability to utilize computers and focus on computer monitors for extended periods of time.
Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and build dealer activity through sales calls, interface with dealer staff and regular visits with key dealer management personnel.
2. Train and update dealer staff on TruWest dealer related products/services.
3. Actively promote TruWest�s dealer programs to targeted dealers.
4. Responsible for growth of dealer base for TruWest.
5. Maintain a major share of dealer generated loans to existing TruWest members.
6. Constant updates and training to keep dealer staff up to date with credit union underwriting policy.
7. Coordinate special promotions.
8. Provide assistance to members and response to member suggestions and/or complaints.
9. Respond to dealer suggestions and/or complaints.
10. Provides a liaison for dealers to ensure the expeditious processing of applications and the prompt funding of contracts.
11. Provide knowledge of currently used rates and programs used by the competition.
12. Aggressively pursue new members for credit union through active dealer base.

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED. A four year college degree is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Two to five years of sales experience, consumer lending experience and a working knowledge of all retail aspects of TruWest�s dealer lending program is a requirement.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Requires good time management, communication, organization, sales, and supervisory skills are a must for this individual in order to promote products and services to dealers and staff. Individual must have good oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
