| Description: | As the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the financial team in analyzing financial impacts of various business initiatives and projects. You will be responsible for providing detailed information and reporting to the executive team and Board of Directors. The responsibilities of the CFO include overseeing the staff and the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports. Perform Asset Liability Management function for Credit Union, utilizing Profitstar, to include risk management and monitoring (IRSA & NEV). Provides strategic management of the accounting and finance functions, directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls, recommending improvements to ensure the integrity of Aventa Credit Union�s financial information, manage/oversee the relationship with independent auditors, collaborate with Chief Information Officers on technology decisions, and identify business risks. Prepare charge-off reports and other applicable financial reports for the President/CEO and Board of Directors. Responds to President/CEO as assigned to identify the financial needs of the organization. Participates in a variety of special projects and compile special reports as needed/requested. Attends board meetings and reports on areas of responsibility; develops and reviews business plans in relation to overall credit union goals.
The successful candidate is a self directed individual with strong management skills and the ability to motivate and direct a team forward. Excellent communication skills with a strong financial background, a good understanding of overall business operations and enjoy working on very complex and critical projects.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor�s degree in accounting or related field; Five to ten years of experience in auditing, accounting and supervising in a credit union; recent experience as a Chief Financial Officer in a credit union; CPA and MBA in Accounting is required.
