The IT systems analyst performs a critical application engineering role and serves as an IT subject matter expert, change agent and liaison between the business and IT teams to ensure technology solutions are designed, developed and implemented to achieve strategic goals.
Essential Functions include:
·Responsible for providing subject matter expertise and knowledge of technology solutions being used by the enterprise as well as understanding how business processes are leveraging those technologies.
·Engages in critical thinking and problem solving activities to help the teams explore alternative technical solutions to solve business problems.
·Demonstrates exceptional analytical and communication skills.
·Provides superior customer service while managing relationships with end users, business area leaders, partners and vendors to ensure deliverables exceed expectations.
·Delivers technical solutions using enterprise standards and engineering best practices for project documentation of analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new/modified software applications.
·Partners with internal business teams to identify and document business requirements in the form of user stories or requirements specifications.
·Conducts quality reviews of user stories, acceptance criteria and technical requirements for accuracy and completeness.
·Interacts with software architect, info security and infrastructure teams to understand software and hardware limitations and to capture Non Functional Requirements.
·Collaborates with developers to establish technical solutions to meet the business objectives and requirements.
·Commits application configuration updates to stage / test environment and plans for roll-back in the event that it is needed.
·Collaborates with developers on completion of architecture and peer reviews of Technical Design Documentation required for each project.
·Provides use case diagrams, flowcharts and other visuals to facilitate understanding of system processing and changes required.
·Serves as a change agent for the enterprise and leverages best practices for organization change management and communication in support of assigned projects.
·Engages in testing, validation and other QA related activities.
Required Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Management Information -Systems or equivalent business related experience.
-Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Systems Analyst.
-Proven experience in developing technical expertise and understanding business processes.
-Experience with technical writing skills, developing use case diagrams, process flows, systems technical design, architecture diagrams, system development or equivalent processes.
-Experience delivering strategic software solutions within an agile environment.
-Demonstrated learning agility and experience implementing IT processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
-Experience with Financial Institution technologies.
-Off the shelf application configuration and administration experience.
-Application development and integration experience.
-Technical solution testing and validation experience.
-Prosci OCM Certification
-Salesforce implementation experience.
-Experience with the following technologies:
*Symitar Episys Core System, Synapsys, Synergy, ImageCenter, MeridianLink, Encompass, Consumer Lending Origination systems, Mortgage Origination systems, Online banking solutions, SQL relational databases,
Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment
