The SVP of Retail Network develops, implements, and oversees the credit union’s retail management processes and teams across multiple channels and markets. This position will be expected to lead the Retail Network through continuous improvement and transformations as we enhance our digital and member experience. This position is expected to drive member service excellence, achieve financial results, and create alignment across the retail network with the mission, vision, and values of Elevations Credit Union.
Essential Functions include:
-Responsible for holding accountable, coaching, and development of retail leadership.
-Develops strategies, leads, and ensures execution of the strategic plan, business plan, and the retail to business plan.
-Provides creative solutions on aligning and implementing retail strategy to overall strategic plan.
-Maintains and enhances the member centric model of Elevations Credit Union.
-Have a strong bias for action, bold thinking and high tolerance for risk and have the ability to manage the complexities brought about by rapid change
-Ensure the highest levels of member loyalty in alignment with our mission, vision, and values of Elevations Credit Union.
-Ensures that operational excellence is a key focus, and is supported, throughout the retail network.
-Partners with all key stakeholders in the execution of strategic, transactional, and operational activities.
-Maintain effective communication and high-performing, cross-functional partnerships with senior-level executives, business lines, and internal members through positive influence
-Analyzes retail performance metrics and provides strategic direction to the retail network and Elevations leadership in accomplishing defined objectives.
-Support and drive change initiatives that encourage the implementation and acceptance of product or service improvements within the retail network
-Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Required Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
-Formal leadership training
-10+ years’ senior retail banking background with 5 years in senior management capacity within a progressive financial organization
-Experience working within a structure and discipline of a large bank or credit union with mature operations
-Significant management experience leading leaders as well as cross functional teams
-In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of retail sales processes, including sales process design, tracking, management, training and coaching
-Positive community reputation and involvement
-Demonstrated breadth of knowledge and experience with lending and banking products and services
-Track record of entering new markets, growing teams and integrating acquisitions into the business
-Working knowledge of bank technology platforms, particularly how systems and applications integrate with business processes and operations
Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment
Physical Requirements: Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs. of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
