Duties:Building High Performing Teams:
• Oversee a diverse team of motivated employees by modeling the way, by training, empowering and coaching to ensure optimal member experience.
• Create an environment where motivated people want to join, learn, do their best and advance.
• Effectively communicate info to keep staff well informed to increase team efficiency and overall productivity.
• Attract, interview and retain top talent
• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by Branch Manager
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to Branch Manager
• Train, coach, reward and motivate associates to improve selling and the overall member experience.
• Reinforce sales expectations, performance, results and accountability with all associates.
• Assist Branch Manager in conducting onboarding and continued training of various members of the team.
• Build schedules to maximize and leverage sales results.
• Deliver performance reviews.

Sales and Service:
• Lead and model Sooper Credit Union’s mission statement.
• Lead sales efforts to meet all sales and service expectations.
• Ensure tellers understand and adhere to Sooper Credit Union’s mission statement.

• Perform opening and closing routines within the branch.
• Display full understanding of all Cash Operations throughout the branch.
• Ability to serve as a back up to the teller line and MSR areas.
• Serve as the lead manager when the Branch Manager is unavailable or out of the office.
• Handles and resolves difficult member (customer) issues, questions or concerns.
• Takes decisive action and make sound decisions with supported reasoning.
• Maintain and effectively communicate and train all policies and procedures.

Qualifications:What makes you a great fit?
• 3-5 years retail banking branch operations experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisor experience preferred.
