Description:SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an individual with a strong ability to analyze/design and implement software solutions to support a growing company. Working under the supervision of CIO and collaborating with a technical team, the Junior Engineer will have the opportunity to recommend solutions, to program, code, test and install new programs and update existing programs and develop scripting for process automation.
Duties:CORE COMPETENCIES

Develop, implement and maintain application software to established standards and specifications.
Modify acquired application software using tables, profiles, and other vendor supplied customization tools to reflect approved changes specified by users.
Credit Union Symitar software expertise to troubleshoot and support Episys specifications/application and changes as requested; Symitar PowerON experience also a plus
Ability to develop scripting.
Implement updates and approved changes to application software to maintain currency standards, correct problems, and modify or enhance applications function.
Participate in the design and selection of application software.
Document new programs or changes to existing programs.
Basic workstation knowledge and troubleshooting ability
In cooperation with the end user, test application software to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results.
Train users and validate ability to use and run applications. Document testing and training results.
Continues to improve with a quality mind-set, and a proactive approach to problems, projects and goals.
Displays thorough knowledge to troubleshoot and fix IT services and equipment, problems efficiently and timely manner.
Ensures compliance to regulations governing E-commerce policies.
Works to ensure compliance of the IT Security policy and Anti-virus policy.
.Displays a proactive approach to system security and compliance.
Displays thorough knowledge of network and its administration.
Knowledge of programming languages SQL, HTML, XML, Java, ASP , C++ a plus J

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

Bachelorís degree in related field or equivalent training/experience.
