The Branch Manager position is truly at the heart of what we do - serve our membership. You could say that it's the most important position here at PSCU. Well, one of them, that's certain.
Duties:As a Branch Manager, you will manage and direct the activity of a branch. The manager ensures the customer service and financial needs of our members are being met by the branch employees and actively looks for opportunities to increase our business with existing and potential members.

This position may include covering any positions in the branch, including day to day work and cash handling and balancing, and working with negotiable instruments.

� Understanding negotiable instruments
Qualifications:This position requires an individual with integrity, an understanding of the value of our members and the ability to build and foster a sense of teamwork and ownership. These skills must also be accompanied with a strong understanding of the strategic direction of the credit union, relationship building, and accountability. The successful candidate will demonstrate maturity, dependability, professionalism, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule (including Saturdays). This position requires excellent communication, service, sales skills, and previous management experience in a financial institution.

Education:
Minimum of High School diploma or GED is required. Further education is desired.

Equipment:
Computer, keyboard, phone, currency and coin, calculator, copier, fax, printer, etc.

Working Conditions:
�Office environment
�Frequent sitting and standing
�Necessitates movement from department to department and/or location to location.
�Some lifting required up to approximately 25 lbs.
�Occasional stooping, bending and stretching facilitate filing and supplies.
�Physical ability to maintain continuous hours of standing and sitting.
�Manual dexterity to input data on keyboard (i.e., computer, phone, calculator, fax, etc.)
�Visual ability to interpret data from PC screen and written documents.
�Ability to understand our member's and employee's speech and respond accordingly.
