| Duties: | Our Communications Center Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall management of the department. Responsibilities include the direction, coordination and management of the operational aspects of the department, while providing leadership, support, coaching & mentoring to the Communications Center Representatives. Emphasis is placed on member service plus ensuring the department effectively supports the credit union's mission and strategic direction through its service and sales efforts while maintaining effective management over its operational aspects and exposure. |
| Qualifications: | The successful candidate will have:
� 2-4 years of call center experience
� Successful background of management and/or supervisory background.
� Strong coaching and mentoring skills
� Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships with a diverse customer base.
� Effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent telephone communication skills and etiquette.
� Ability to multi-task with competing demands.
� Credit union or similar financial institution union experience is a strong plus.
� Ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy.
� Ability to utilize appropriate software and technological applications.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to learn and master credit union procedural knowledge as well as knowledge of credit union products. Additionally, you will need to have an strong skill with business math, PC familiarity and problem-solving skills.
Candidates must have the availability and flexibility to work 40-45 hours/week during our Communication Center hours which are Monday-Saturdays from 7-7.

Computer, keyboard, phone, computer applications, reports, calculator, typewriter, copier, fax, printer, etc.
Working Conditions:
� Office environment.
� Physical ability to maintain continuous hours of sitting
� Physical ability to speak via phone
� Necessitates some movement from department to department and/or location to location.
� Some lifting required up to approximately 25 lbs.
� Some standing
� Occasional stooping, bending and stretching facilitate filing and supplies.
� Manual dexterity to input data on keyboard (i.e., computer, calculator, phone, fax, etc.)
� Visual ability to interpret data from PC screen and written documents.
� Ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy.
